Billings and the surrounding communities continue to grow and open some amazing experiences for families. These are our top 5 things to do in the fall.
1) T&C Farms Pumpkin Patch. Located in Laurel, the whole place has swings, a sensory corn basket, train rides, animals to feed, a hayride, corn maze and optional pick your own pumpkin patch. There is so much to do you can stay for hours.
2) Grandpa's Farm. Located on the west end of Billings this place has carnival games galore. Our kids always love the slides and train rides. They have a variety of corn mazes for all levels. Go after the sun sets for an extra spooky experience as well.
3) RSO Farm and Ranch. Located in Shepherd this cattle farm opens up its property in the fall for a pick your own pumpkin patch. This is the perfect spot for fall photos. They have a fresh fruit and veggie booth too. It is wholesome, small and all local.
4) Harvest Fest Downtown. This local favorite is fun for the whole family. They have face painting, pumpkins everywhere and all your favorite fall foods and drinks. Did someone say Oktoberfest? Park near Wise Wonders to extend your stay and play even longer if you want or hang out by the stage and watch all the dancers and musicians.
5) Hike one of our favorite trails around town. The tree streets and Pioneer Park are always lovely in the fall. We also encourage you to go to John Dover Park in the heights and Riverfront Park on the Southend. Nothing says fall like a crunchy walk through the woods.
